Dawn, I fill for you and your family during this time, this is all that you need to deal with. My wife has ms and has had it for the last 9 and half years. We have Blue Cross Blue Sheld ppo thur my employer. Is your thur a employer or self pay? either way they should be coving your care in my eyes, my wife bills and any medical care that she has needed has been paid for no question asked. She go thur a monthly treatment that cost 5500.00 every month we pay $0 if she she the Dr during the treatment it cost $25.00. again this is a plan thur my employer, I didt get to pick my plan it wass the only one offered to me and my family, so not all companys are no good, some are trying to do a good job, Iam should that someone will have a story about how bad BCBS is but with me its great, and I dont have the best job in the world, Iam in retail, a dead end job, no college, I do know that we need to work on the coverage for people that dont have any or poor coverage but the way that we are going about it isnt right and not working.
This is so sad.. ignoring all this right in front of their building. i hope that something happens and soon!!!
I signed a note in a bottle with “I support organizations that value long term human health more than short term corporate profits. I support organizations built on ethics, morals, and principles. And I believe that healthy human lifestyles and healthy corporate practices lead to benefits and profits for all.” I sure do hope that Cigna catches on SOON.
